Today, on March 8, 2022, Iran managed to indigenously inject the Iranian Noor 2 satellite into a 500-kilometer circular orbit by the three-stage Iranian Ghased launch vehicle.

The mission of this satellite is remote sensing and reconnaissance. Noor satellite separated from the last stage of the launcher 480 seconds after lift off and with the speed of 7.6 km/s.
